Pillar Choice
Pillar Choice refers to List of possible choices that prescribe which date should be used as the respective pillar, when an instrument is used in curve building.
Note that this choice can play an important role in the successful bootstrapping of the referenced curve because during the processing of a given market quote it constraints the time interval over which the curve's Modelled Qty assumes fixed interpolated values implied by the already processed market quotes.
Specifically, if the pillar date of the currently processed market quote is very close to the pillar of the previous quote, it might be possible that no solution can be found for the Modelled Qty at that pillar that can compensate the established Modelled Qty values up to the previous pillar.
Available Pillar Choice types:
Custom Date
Last Date
