Grouping
Key Grouping of function Merge Dims in Tablerefers to a text that dictates how the coordinate axes of the referenced table are merged.
An empty text means no merging.
Expected here is text in the form "a-b,c-d,..." where a , b , c, d etc are integers that represents a partial merge of the axes (dimensions) of the given Table.
The integers a , b , c, d ... must be in increasing order.
For example, consider a table A with 7 axes denoted as A₁ A₂ A₃ A₄ A₅ A₆ A₇ that are assumed to be ordered in the indicated sequence.
These axes are represented by their respective indices 1 2 3 4 5 6 7
A text such as "2 - 3 , 5 - 7" means starting with the 1st axis A₁, then adding the cross product A₂×A₃, then adding the axis A₄ and finally adding the cross product A₅×A₆×A₇
The result is a table B with the following 4 axes:
(B₁ B₂ B₃ B₄) = (A₁ A₂×A₃ A₄ A₅×A₆×A₇)
