In Deriscope terminology, a table rank is simply the number of coordinates of a Table
For example, in the case of a volatility table with an expiry and strike axis, there exist two coordinates and therefore the table rank is 2.
In the case of a swaption volatility cube with a swaption expiry, underlying swap maturity and strike axis, there exist three coordinates and therefore the table rank is 3.
