Stock is a Tradable that represents in Deriscope usage a single share of the commonly known "common stock" of a particuar company, rather than the "common stock" itself.
It may be also described as a type of security that signifies ownership in a corporation and represents a claim on part of the corporation's assets and earnings and entitles its owner to regular dividend payments and voting rights.
A Stock object in Deriscope is primarily defined through its
Issuer, but not uniquely, since an issuer may have issued several different types of stock shares.
Apart from the actual existing stock shares in the real economy, like those of Google or Microsoft, Stock also allows the creation and usage of so called "custom stocks" with user-defined names.
Note you may create a
trivial object of type Stock simply through the text: %"ticker|country", like for example "MSFT|US".
