Spot Price is a child type of Quotable that represents the ratio between two given Tradable objects in the following sense:
The value of a Spot Price
Deriscope Object at any time is defined to equal the ratio of the prices of its two constituent Tradable objects at the same time.
The Spot Price constitutes a simple example of generic Quotable object construction in Deriscope.
Any two Tradable objects can be combined here to give rise to a new Quotable object representing the relative price of one Tradable relative to the other.
For example, by combining the
Stock object "IBM" with the Currency object "USD", we end up with the particular Spot Price object describing the price of the IBM stock in USD currency terms.
