Key time_period in TechInd refers to the number of data points (i.e. datestamps) used to calculate the technical indicator value at each datestamp
Expects a positive integer.
For example, a value of 10 in the context of moving average means that each moving average at time t is calculated based on the past 10 reference quotes.
One of these past 10 quotes includes the quote as of t.
A failure occurs if the value here exceeds the total number of data points available.
