Number of Threads

Key Number of Threads in
Parallelization refers to the optional number of threads that are allocated for the parallel processing of the referenced routine.
It may be set to any positive number, but optimally must be set to the number N of logical processors supported by the host architecture.
If omitted, the default is 0, which is automatically converted to N due to the rule below.
Any number less than 1 or greater than N is automatically converted to N.

If set to 1, no parallel processing takes place.

Note the number of threads that are actually employed may be less than the number here so that certain restrictions are satisfied.
For example, the number of threads can never exceed the number of simulated scenarios or the number of randomized sub-simulations.
