Raw Titles

Key Raw Titles in
Hist Request refers to an 1D-array of labels that specify which columns are displayed.
The raw data (feeds) received from the provider contain special text labels that identify the various columns.
For example, a four-column data display could use the four labels spot-time, close, previous close, latest bid
You can easily see all the labels by setting
Custom_Columns = false in which case all columns are displayed as they are received.
This entry is used only if
Custom_Columns = true and allows you to decide which columns to display and in what order.
In the above example, you can choose to display only the first, second and fourth column by supplying the array Time, Close, Bid
As you see, you don't need to type in the exact same text as that appearing in the received feeds.
The element Time matches the spot-time because the former is part of the latter, while case and spaces are ignored.
The element Close happens to match both close and previous close, but the former is considered a better match for obvious reasons.
You must be carefull with your choice of the first label as it is interpreted as the one associated with the column of timestamps.
It is also possible for an element to hold multiple labels by separating them with the vertical bar |
This can be useful in situations where the incoming data contain labels that vary according to the input settings.
For example, the element "Date|Time" would match a column label in the input data that happens to contain either "Date" or "Time".
The ordering of the array elements determines the order that the columns appear from left to right.
You can see all available valid labels either by inspecting the output columns produced by setting
Custom_Columns = false or inspecting the error message produced by using some non-valid label.
