Fetch In Boost Mode
Key Fetch In Boost Mode in ExCfgLvFdAV refers to a boolean value that applies only when Fetch Once = false
It controls whether the auto-refreshed live feeds returned by the spreadsheet function xfGet correspond to the current input values (tickers and fields) of that function.
The default value is FALSE, which means that each invocation of the xfGet function takes into account the current input values.
The TRUE setting means that the most recently considered input values - which normally are the input values during the first function invocation - are assumed for all subsequent invocations until the live engine stops.
Clearly, the TRUE setting offers an efficiency advantage at the cost of breaking the correspondence between output and input in the occasion when the latter changes accidentally.
The TRUE setting places less burden on Excel each time live feeds arrive and could be therefore preferred when the input values do not change very often.
Note that the input values are always considered when the live feeds engine restarts after having been paused or when the engine is stopped and the feeds are requested only once.
