Frequency

Frequency refers to List of possible types that describe how often a particular periodic event takes place.
Available Frequency types:
Annual
The associated periodic event occurs once a year.
Bimonthly
The associated periodic event occurs every two months, i.e. 6 times a year.
Biweekly
The associated periodic event occurs every two weeks, which in various calculations is regarded to be equivalent to 26 times a year.
Daily
The associated periodic event occurs once a day, which in various calculations is regarded to be equivalent to 365 times a year.
Every Fourth Month
The associated periodic event occurs every four months, i.e. thrice a year.
Every Fourth Week
The associated periodic event occurs every four weeks, which in various calculations is regarded to be equivalent to 13 times a year.
Monthly
The associated periodic event occurs once a month, i.e. 12 times a year.
No Frequency
The associated event has no periodic character => no frequency can be attributed to it.
Once
The associated event occurs only once.
For example, this is the frequency of the coupon payment occurence of a zero bond.
Other Frequency
The associated periodic event occurs with some other frequency not listed here.
Quarterly
The associated periodic event occurs every three months, i.e. 4 times a year.
Semiannual
The associated periodic event occurs every six months, i.e. twice a year.
Weekly
The associated periodic event occurs once a week, which in various calculations is regarded to be equivalent to 52 times a year.
