Sometimes in Excel a date input in some cell may be allowed to be left unspecified, in which case the unspecified date is handled by Deriscope in a context-dependent way.
In such a case, leaving the cell blank may be acceptable by the processing function.
If not, the special text label [No Date] can be always used in lieu of a date to signify the absence of a specific date.
